As prescribed in 47.207-6(a)(2), insert the following clause in solicitations and contracts for transportation or for transportation-related services: Charges (APR 1984) In no event shall charges under this contract be in excess of charges based on the Contractor's lowest rate available to the general public, or be in excess of charges based on rates otherwise tendered to the Government by the Contractor for the same type of service. (1) The contracting officer shall include in the solicitation a statement that the charges in the contract shall not exceed the contractor's charges for the same service that is-
(i) Available to the general public; or
(ii) Otherwise tendered to the Government.
(2) The contracting officer shall insert the clause at 52.247-17, Charges.
