Summary
The deviation replaces Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 50 and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Part 250, covering extraordinary contractual actions and the SAFETY Act. Effective 2026-02-01, contracting officers must use the revised FAR Part 50 from the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) web page and the attached DFARS Part 250 and DFARS Procedures, Guidance and Information (PGI) 250. This deviation implements E.O. 14275 and E.O. 14265, which direct elimination of unnecessary procurement regulations.
