Summary

The deviation requires contracting officers to use revised versions of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 31 and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Part 231, Contract Cost Principles and Procedures, effective 2026-02-01. The revised FAR Part 31 is published on the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul web page. The attached DFARS Part 231 and DFARS Procedures, Guidance, and Information (PGI) 231 replace the currently codified text.
