SUBJECT: Rescission of Class Deviation—Undefinitized Contract Actions During the National
Emergency for the Coronavirus Disease 2019
This memorandum rescinds Class Deviation 2020-O0012, Undefinitized Contract
Actions During the National Emergency for the Coronavirus Disease 2019, and its Revision 1.
In accordance with H.J. Res 7, which was signed into law on April 10, 2023, the national
emergency declared by the President on March 13, 2020, has been terminated. As a result, and
effective immediately, contracting officers shall follow the policies and procedures at Defense
Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) subpart 217.74 for undefinitized contract
actions.
