Summary
This memorandum rescinds Class Deviation 2021-O0001 and its Revision 1. Executive Order (EO) 13985 revoked EO 13950 on January 20, 2021. Contracting Officers must remove clause 252.222-7999 from all existing and new solicitations and contracts.

Remove clause 252.222-7999 (DEVIATION 2021-O0001) (JAN 2021) and clause 252.222-7999 (DEVIATION 2021-O0001) (NOV 2020) from all existing contracts so neither version remains.

Ensure existing solicitations do not contain either version of clause 252.222-7999 (DEVIATION 2021-O0001).

Ensure new solicitations do not contain either version of clause 252.222-7999 (DEVIATION 2021-O0001).
EO Revocation
EO 13985 revoked EO 13950 on January 20, 2021. That revocation is the basis for this rescission.
Two Clause Versions
Two versions of 252.222-7999 exist: the NOV 2020 and JAN 2021 versions. COs must remove both from contracts and solicitations.
