Summary

The deviation replaces Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 18 and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Part 218, both covering Emergency Acquisitions. It implements the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) directed by Executive Order (EO) 14275 and EO 14265. Revised DFARS Part 218 and DFARS Procedures, Guidance and Information (PGI) 218 are attached; the revised FAR Part 18 is published on the RFO web page.
