Summary
This deviation replaces Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 4 and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Part 204 with revised versions published under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO). It also replaces the DFARS Procedures, Guidance, and Information (PGI) 204 text. The deviation implements Executive Orders 14275 and 14265 and Office of Management and Budget Memorandum M-25-26, which direct elimination of unnecessary procurement regulations.

SPRS exemptions
SPRS risk assessment requirements do not apply to supplies or services exempted by DoDI 5000.79.

Provision 252.204-7998 consolidates multiple DFARS representations into one annual SAM-based certification. Do not insert the listed provisions separately when 252.204-7998 is used.
