Summary
The deviation replaces Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Part 215, both covering contracting by negotiation, with revised versions effective 2026-03-16. Contracting officers must use the revised FAR Part 15 from the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) web page and the attached DFARS Part 215 and Procedures, Guidance, and Information (PGI) 215 in lieu of the codified texts. The deviation remains in effect until rescinded or incorporated into the FAR, DFARS and DFARS PGI.

The deviation remains in effect until rescinded or incorporated into the FAR, DFARS and DFARS PGI. No fixed expiration date applies.
Certified cost or pricing data threshold change
DFARS 215.403-3(a) sets the certified cost or pricing data threshold at $10 million for prime contracts awarded after 2026-06-30. The threshold is $2.5 million for contracts awarded on or before 2026-06-30.
CCC waiver
DoD has waived certified cost or pricing data requirements for the CCC and its subcontractors. Use 252.215-7990 and 252.215-7991 as prescribed for CCC sole source acquisitions.

The revised FAR Part 15 is published at the RFO web page. Contracting officers must use that version, not the text codified at 48 CFR chapter 1.
